career coaching

“It is your work in life that is the ultimate seduction.”

Pablo Picasso said that…

I love career coaching, either in one to one sessions or in my monthly creative work support groups – after all, establishing our true purpose is one of the biggest challenges that any of us faces in our careers, once that hurdle has been overcome and we find our trajectory the obstacles are far fewer and things seem to flow more freely.

Individual career coaching offers one to one time and focus, whilst group sessions provide support, feedback and the creative guidance of a peer group.  Whichever suits you best,  the space to discuss and explore your gifts and unblock your potential can be extremely beneficial both in business development and personal confidence.

“Thanks to the coaches I was lucky enough to learn from first hand: Jerry Hyde, creativity guru, who told me to write a book and, like most of his advice I only listened to it two years later – thanks for so much inspiration over the last seven years.  Thanks also to the members of Jerry’s very creative mens’ group who have encouraged me throughout the writing process.”

“… and Jerry Hyde, personal guru extraordinaire, whose unflagging support and wondrous knowledge of the works of Hunter S. Thompson gave this book its distinctive edge.”

“Jerry’s workgroups have allowed me to gain a greater understanding of the work I want to do, develop strategies for dealing with problems as they arise and deepen my understanding of my skills and specialities.”

“The group has provided me with lots of insight and helpful feedback and I’ve found that I can relate to many of the issues being covered; it’s friendly, informal and relaxed with a common purpose to help each other take another step towards our individual goals. There’s no pressure and a great respect for each person’s chosen speed in things. It’s been a valuable resource for me.”

“Rather than simply focusing on job or  career as such,  this  group considers an individual’s work within the framework of their life’s purpose.  Hence the main focus of  the group is necessarily the individual rather than the detailed content of the work itself.  This  permits a far freer range of discussion and depth of psychological inquiry than might otherwise be the case.”
